Holidays are Fundays

Yesterday I saw articles from an online newspaper that the government has declared 2 more days as holidays for this month. The vehicular number coding scheme will also be waived during the following dates.

Proclamation No. 60

DECLARING TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 2010 AS A NATIONAL HOLIDAY
IN CELEBRATION OF EID’L-ADHA (FEAST OF SACRIFICE)

Proclamation No. 1841
(carried over from the Previous Administration)
DECLARING THE REGULAR HOLIDAYS, SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAYS,
AND SPECIAL HOLIDAY (FOR ALL SCHOOLS) FOR THE YEAR 2010
New Year’s DayJanuary 1
Maundy ThursdayApril 1
Good FridayApril 2
Araw ng KagitinganApril 9 (Friday)
Labor DayMay 1
Independence DayJune 14 (Monday nearest June 12)
National Heroes DayAugust 30 (Last Monday of August)
Bonifacio DayNovember 29 (Monday nearest November 30)
Christmas DayDecember 25 (Saturday)
Rizal DayDecember 27 (Monday nearest December 30)
For me, this is great news. Another day for bonding since Daddy will be home, OR a day to catch up on my "what-to" list for Christmas (what to do, what to buy, what to prepare, what to eat, etc).

How would you spend these 2 extra days off? Any plans?

This kind of situations is what we always look forward to. Ramadan and the two Eid holidays is always great for us and almost no one is taking a leave on those dates. With the coming Eid Al Adha, it's a week of no work here but I am working on that week but it will be more bucks as OT. lol
